As a child I loved Sleeping beauty for the singing, the fairy godmothers and more importantly the evil witch Maleficent.
She embodied an air of poise and grace in all her scenes.
She had a haunting beauty about her.
Lana Del Rey's remake of "Once upon a Dream" is spell binding; I can't wait to see Angelina Jolie as Maleficent in the upcoming Disney live action version.

This web campaign comprised of Alvin Ailey II dancers is about bringing awareness to modern-day slavery and sex trafficking.
